Serve as a functional HSE expert, providing leadership and technical support to the HSEF AEROSPACE Headquarters servicing all AERO facilities worldwide. Work within robust operating and management systems to reduce risk. Strengthen systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and Honeywell requirements. Partner with business leaders, Facility HSE Leaders and employees to continuously improve HSE culture, awareness, and accountability in support of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversight, day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the FAA drug & alcohol program.

+ Integrate HSE processes and safe work practices into site operations supporting site HSE leaders.

+ Lead HSE initiatives as an integrated business partner to support achievement of site and AERO HSEF goals and ensure zero harm to everyone.

+ Drive Excellence in HSE through management leadership, employee involvement, worksite analysis, hazard prevention and control, and HSE training.

+ Support contractor safety programs and asset management programs assisting Principal Safety Engineer.

+ Reporting and escalation of HSEF events/non-conformance & corrective action support.

+ Liaison with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

+ Business acumen of aerospace and FAA requirements.

+ Conduct training of HSE and ISC personnel.

+ Develop, recommend, and implement practical, functional approaches to resolve safety, health, and environmental issues in support of location strategies for achieving customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

+ Champion information management and process excellence.

+ Strengthen HSE culture and coach on HSE behaviors.

+ Oversight of additional HSEF programs as assigned.

+ Conduct site internal audits to ensure continual compliance.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE:

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in HSE or HSE related field.

+ 3+ years HS&E experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

+ Must be a US citizen due to contractual requirements.
