**Job Description**

The Contracts Compliance team is seeking a summer analyst to perform data entry and analysis to ensure compliance with Amentum contracts system, policies, and procedures as well as Government contract compliance issues. Provides advanced administrative and fundamental contracts compliance support.

You will learn the fundamentals of reading a contract and how the government holds contractors accountable through various types of audits. As a Contracts Compliance Analyst Intern your responsibilities may include:

+ Ensures timely entry and verification of contracts data.

+ Verifies system monetary values align to contractual documents.

+ Reviews basic contract and contract modification requirements and ensures contracts system compliance, performing ongoing audits of contract documents.

+ Prepares statistical trending charts of error rates associated with system data entry.

+ Find data required to respond to various data calls from both internal and external customers.

+ Participate in special projects as needed for contract executives.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

+ Current pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Juris Doctor. Preference will be given to Juniors, Seniors, and first year post-graduate studies.

+ Good written and verbal communication skills

+ Strong math skills

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to review a data set and identify discrepancies and resolve them.

**Desired Skills & Expertise**

+ Prior work experience in aerospace, defense, and government sector

+ Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

+ Strong motivation and work ethic with the ability to work independently and remote.

+ Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.

+ Strong organizational and data entry skills
