Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPS, FNPs, AGNPs) licensed in Arizona to work direct care in Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Flagstaff, Cottonwood, Camp Verde and Sedona.

As a provider, you will have the freedom to create your own schedule, hours, and size of caseload.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide face to face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

+ Assess patient’s mental status based on symptoms.

+ Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.

+ Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.

+ Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Job Types: Part-time W2 Billable Hourly (1099 Independent Contractor available)

Locations Serviced: Flagstaff, Camp Verde, Cottonwood, Sedona (some travel required)

Requirements

+ Licensed in Arizona by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.

+ Licensed by the Arizona Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances.

+ Possession of a DEA in Arizona.

+ Possession of an X-Wavier for Suboxone treatment (Optional).

+ Must be compliant with CDC guidelines for vaccinations and boosters.

+ 1-year minimum experience in Psych setting.

+ 1 year experience within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Skills

+ Basic computer knowledge.

+ Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).

+ Excellent written communication.

+ Attention to detail.

+ Strong interpersonal skills.

+ Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations.

+ Fluency in Spanish is a plus!

Pay:

+ $55.00 to $79.00 per Billable Hour, W2 and Independent Contractor options available.

+ Compensation determined based on pay model preferred, experience, and licensure.
