**Responsibilities**

Mayo Clinic’s Department of Neurosurgery, led by Bernard R. Bendok, M.D. and located in Arizona is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurosurgeon with fellowship training in the discipline of minimally invasive spine and peripheral nerve surgery. This individual will join the Department of Neurosurgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, an academic tertiary care program.

The ideal candidate has expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery, complex spinal reconstruction and peripheral nerve surgery. Candidates must have demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment, strong clinical communication/interpersonal skills and an interest in academic productivity. With the nation’s largest neurosurgical clinical volumes, collaborative clinical and research opportunities are available and encouraged across all Mayo sites (Arizona, Minnesota, Florida and the Mayo Health System).
