POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Direct Service Manager, a Direct Care Provider is responsible to provide support, guidance, and direction, re-direction to the member attending Community or Center Based. Direct Care Providers provide MIKID licensable services to the primary caregiver while supporting the emotional, physical and mental well-being of the member and his/her family. Direct care services may be provided in the child’s home, a licensed facility or in the community.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School degree or equivalent.
Must be age 21 or over. (Medical licensing regulation)
One year experience in behavioral health or childcare.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience in the behavioral health field is preferred.
Ability to write and speak effectively.
Must be able to be work in both indoor/outdoor working conditions.
Bi-lingual a plus.
Preference will be given to person who has a family member with behavioral health issues or a person who has participated in a significant way in the life of a person with behavioral health issues.
CPR/1st Aid Certified
Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance card.
Must have valid Arizona Driver's License, business use vehicle insurance and vehicle registration.
Must complete all necessary paperwork and mandatory training prior providing services.
