We are looking for a Project Engineer with expertise in construction and electric utilities to play a key role in the successful planning, execution, and completion of utility construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of construction and electric utility systems. With solar, wind, and transmission and distribution being a big focus.

Responsibilities:

* Project Planning and Coordination
* Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle

Engineering Design and Analysis:

* Conduct engineering analysis and design for construction and electric utility projects
* Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation

Construction Management:

* Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards
* Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track

Quality Assurance and Safety

* Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to meet project requirements
* Prioritize and promote a culture of safety on construction sites, adhering to all relevant regulations

Client Interaction:

* Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and providing regular project updates
* Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within budget while meeting quality standards

Technical Expertise:

* Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to construction and electric utilities
* Provide technical guidance to project teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes

Qualifications:

* 4 year degree in construction or engineering related studies
* 1-5 years’ experience in construction or similar industry
* Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and electric utility systems.
* Travel Required: Yes, this is a field position that will require traveling.
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc)
* Other software experience is encouraged.
* Military experience is acceptable
