Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST T32, Position Description Number PDD1254000 and is part of the AZ CSMS, National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located with the Combined Surface Maintenance Shop (CSMS) in Phoenix, Arizona. The primary purpose of the work is to analyze and evaluate ground maintenance operations, production, and procedures for programmatic regulations and requirements; and make recommendations for improvement. This requires practical knowledge of, and skill in applying, principles, concepts, and methods of surface maintenance equipment, facilities, and service operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted: E5/SGT-E9/CSM/SGM Warrant Officer Candidate (WOC) Warrant Officer: WO1/Warrant Officer- CW3/Chief Warrant Officer 3 Compatible Military Assignments: Enlisted: 88, 91, 92, & 94 SERIES Warrant Officer: 88, 91, 92, and 94 series SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience in applying principles, concepts, and methods of equipment, facility, or service operations sufficient in designing projects or planning assignments. Experience using well-established occupational methods and techniques to determine facility, grounds, equipment overhaul, maintenance, restoration, repair needs, etc. Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a knowledge of ground equipment maintenance operations and procedures and the applicable safety, occupational health, and hazardous waste programs that influence maintenance management decisions. Experience in implementing or overseeing a safety, occupational health, or hazardous waste program for a maintenance facility. Experience using computer and automation systems.
