This recruitment is for (1) one position where the selected candidate will be placed in either an Economic Development Specialist or a Senior Economic Development Specialist position depending on qualifications and prior experience.

Economic Development Specialist: FLSA Exempt ($63,300.00 - $91,677.00).
Under general supervision of the Economic Development Director, assists with community organizations, institutions, and businesses in the research, preparation, and implementation of economic development plans, programs, and services.

Senior Economic Development Specialist: FLSA Exempt ($69,788.00 - $101,074.00).
Works independently with community organizations, institutions, and businesses in the research, preparation, and implementation of economic development plans, programs, and services. Generates leads or prospects in targeted areas, creates marketing and promotional materials to expand the local economy by advocating and retention of new businesses to sustain and strengthen the community’s economic base.
