**What you'll do here:**

Are you a savvy marketer who thrives on turning ambiguity into clarity for your team? Do you enjoy tackling new challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams? If so, we want to hear from you!

As a Product Marketing Manager at Cengage, your role will involve marketing a portfolio of subject areas and products. You'll work closely with product team members, sales, faculty marketing, advocacy marketing, and brand creative services to make a significant impact. By providing messaging and market knowledge-based prioritization, you'll craft coordinated campaigns and sales enablement strategies to achieve corporate and portfolio revenue, retention, and growth goals.

Here are some of the essential duties and responsibilities you'll have in this role:

+ Strategize with Product Managers and Sales partners on key targets, opportunities and competitors. Form relationships with key market influencers and advocates

+ Tell a compelling product story that engages our sales force, gains new customer markets and drives revenue

+ Partner with product teams to craft internal and external messaging about new and existing capabilities, features and products

+ Develop and promote customer-facing events and presentations to drive activations, sales conversions, and customer usage

+ Create and manage customer-facing product information and content for priority products and channels and work with web team to ensure products are accurately reflected on Cengage sites

+ Analyze your business and align marketing strategies to most important portfolio drivers

+ Compile analytics for sales and marketing campaigns and share feedback with respective teams

**What you'll need here:**

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Marketing, Business, Sales or Communications

+ 3+ years of Marketing or Sales experience

+ Outstanding presentation skills in person and in a virtual environment

+ Strong social skills; ability to work well with other team members, customers, sales, and collaborators across the organization

+ Outgoing and positive with a focus on building and maintaining relationships

+ The creativity and resourcefulness needed to build engaging content strategies

+ Passionate about digital education and customer outcomes

+ Experience working with a sales force a plus

+ Basic sales training video creation and editing skills a plus

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
