Primary Responsibilities:
Bookkeeper
• Accounting Reconciliations and Financial administration including financial statements; fixed assets
• Payroll/Employee Enrollment and Terminations
• Client Invoicing
• Project set-up in accounting software
• Other bookkeeping tasks
• Bank deposits
• Mail retrieval
• Management of bank accounts and company credit cards
• Accounts Receivables
• Accounts Payables
• As-Needed Human Resources assistance
• Agreement management
• Vendor management
• As-Needed HR Assistance with PEO
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s or Associate degree in accounting or at least 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience working as a payroll administrator for at least two years, or in a position similar
• Knowledge of creating tax and payroll reports and addressing payroll questions
• Skilled in performance management and employee benefits administration
• Basic knowledge of the recruitment process
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Deltek/Ajera software a plus
• Proven experience as an HR Administrator or relevant role a plus
• Previous experience working at an engineering firm a plus
