US Service Assurance Continuous Process / Technology Improvement Managing Engineer

Through tight cross-team collaboration, drive strategic technology improvement initiatives forward within DT-US Service Assurance Organization with a focus on delivering efficiency and security at scale through predictive analytics and intelligent automation. Gain understanding of internal customer challenges toward implementing continual customer-centric Next-Gen IT Operational improvements. Through SAFe Agile practices, develop, manage, execute, and report on value-driven milestones. In summary, conduct critical analysis and drive optimization activities to streamline processes, incorporate efficiencies through technology, and drive strategic change.

Work you'll do:

+ Manage different process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of IT process alternatives to drive best practices and IT transformation.

+ Serve as a subject matter expert in Next-gen ITSM toward full IT Operational excellence providing expertise in data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance toward implementing and at times establishing customer-centric best practices to drive continual efficiency gains across the organization.

+ Present leaders with ideas for process improvement and provide value-driven updates on the measurement of initiatives.

+ Help organize technology transformation initiatives through to completion.

+ Manage technology transformation reporting; support deep dives with service areas to effectively measure and track continual initiative progress leveraging data integrations and reporting analytics best practices.

+ Leverage industry knowledge and stay close to technology developments to help establish the technology roadmap for continued future improvement areas while ensuring initiatives are fully utilizing existing capabilities and available technologies.

+ Performs other job-related duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Required:

+ Minimum of 6 years direct or related IT Process Improvement experience with a focus on scalability and efficiency through predictive analytics and intelligent automation

+ Minimum of 1 year people and/or leadership experience

+ Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Next-gen IT Operations with Next-gen IT Service Management ITSM being a core component

+ Ability to travel up to 10%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

+ Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment

Preferred:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or 4+ additional years of professional experience and/or qualifications.

+ Proven success in developing and executing internal and external strategies for a large Technology Organizations, preferably in professional services

+ Effectively translate sensitive, large-scale, complex technical details in a customer centric manner across business areas to varying levels of management, including senior-most business leaders while remaining unflustered in a fast-pace high-stakes environment

+ Possess keen problem-solving skills and quantitative and analytical abilities, along with demonstrable experience using analytical concepts to drive decisions, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations for leadership and other stakeholder groups

+ Ability to plan and proactively manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously with a high level of quality/accuracy in work (i.e., detail oriented)

+ Ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,000 to $163,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
