**In this position:**

+ Background in software development and systems administration, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

+ Developing, improving, and operating the deployment and orchestration of complex distributed systems

+ Identify, reduce or eliminate toil via automation to maximize the time spent on engineering and innovation

+ Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field

+ A minimum of 4-6 years of DevOps/Software Engineering experience.

+ Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed cloud platforms and solutions.

+ GCP Administration (GCP IAAS): Ensure high availability of the infrastructure, administration, and overall support.

+ Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed cloud platforms and solutions.

+ Good experience using GCP-specific services like Compute Engine, App Engine, GKE, Stack Driver, Anthos, managed services, etc.

+ Experience with Google Cloud infrastructure provisioning, including VPC, Subnet, Gateway, Security groups, Google Cloud SQL, Kubernetes, CloudRun, etc.Expertise with automating infrastructure as code using Terraform, Packer, and Ansible.

+ Build, enhance, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery systems.

+ Design cloud platform solutions, design critical use-cases, and review and help the SEs and SSEs in their coding.

+ 4 years of GCP/AWS experience

+ Terraform (IaC) experience

+ Experience with one of the programming languages, such as Python, Golang, or Java

+ Interact with highly skilled architecture community to share and learn new technologies, scale, performance, etc.

+ Leverage open-source technologies using public clouds; build and mentor engineers; present ideas to larger organizational groups, including innovation; foster culture independently to run teams.

+ Knowledge of CI and CD and tool sets like GitHub, Nexus, Artifactory, Jenkins, Tekton, and Travis CI is preferred. SonarQube and build tools like Maven, Gradle, and NPM are preferred.

+ Expertise with patch management and APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk for monitoring and alerting.

+ Ability to identify and automate recurring tasks for better productivity.

+ Ability to understand and implement industry-standard security solutions

**_Technical skills_** **n** **_ice to_** **have:**

+ Knowledge of cloud platforms, including Azure, is an added advantage.

+ Experience with React or Angular development is an added advantage.

+ Experience in implementing _auto-_ scaling, DR, HA, and multi-regional best practices is an added advantage.
