As a pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. **Responsibilities**

+ Conducting thorough medical examinations, including growth and development assessments, to diagnose and treat various pediatric conditions.

+ Providing preventive care, vaccinations, and immunizations to promote overall health and prevent illnesses.

+ Evaluating and managing acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections in pediatric patients.

+ Developing personalized treatment plans and monitoring patients' progress over time, adjusting interventions as needed.

+ Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.

+ Educating parents and caretakers on child health, nutrition, safety, and other relevant topics.

+ Conducting screenings for developmental delays, behavioral issues, and mental health concerns, and providing appropriate referrals and interventions.

+ Keeping accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.

+ Staying informed about the latest medical advancements, evidence-based practices, and pediatric research. Adhering to ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.

**Qualifications**

+ Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

+ Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics.

+ Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California.

+ Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric diseases, treatments, and best practices.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, parents, and healthcare team members.

+ Empathy and patience when working with children and their families.

+ Attention to detail and ability to make accurate diagnoses based on comprehensive evaluations.

+ Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine.

**Pay Range**

$120.00 - $127.00 /hour
