Description

We are seeking a diligent Accounts Payable Specialist to assist our client. Candidates who are motivated, ready to thrive in a hospitality environment, and are driven to learn and progress within an organization currently experiencing substantial growth are encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

+ Courteously and promptly address vendor and internal customer inquiries.

+ Contribute to the effective management and maintenance of vendor accounts.

+ Oversee invoice approval workflows with impeccable accuracy.

+ Carry out check runs and electronic payments.

+ Reconcile various ledger and vendor accounts.

+ Thoroughly review and process a large volume of invoices across diverse legal entities.

+ Assist in the yearly processing and audit requests of 1099 forms.

+ Participate in special projects as needed.

+ Uphold established policies and procedures for the accounts payable function.

+ Undertake any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

+ 3-5 years of proven experience in high-volume accounts payable required.

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.

+ Proficiency in accounts payable principles and practices, as well as basic bookkeeping procedures including use/sales tax, 1099 reporting, and general ledger reconciliation.

+ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
