SBM Management is seeking an experienced VP of Information Technology Infrastructure & Operations to help lead the company’s strategy and execution in solutions and technical innovations in core capabilities. You will provide leadership for major, mission-critical infrastructure initiatives such as network modernization, technology resilience, and appropriate use of cloud computing.

+ Responsible for overall leadership, direction, development, and allocation of resources of the Infrastructure, End User Computing, Operations, Telecom, Network, and Operations Center/Service Desk teams

+ Develop multi-year strategic, architectural, and operational plans to achieve business goals, provide agile and scalable solutions, and manage teams to ensure progress toward goals

+ Define and implement national infrastructure strategy to meet rapidly expanding market needs

+ Participate in the formulation of the company’s enterprise architecture and business systems’ plans serving as the Infrastructure subject matter expert; assessing cost and feasibility and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of SBM

+ Provide overall leadership and direction to establish and manage proactive performance management strategy encompassing capacity planning, enterprise monitoring, effective change management, analysis for root cause identification, and timely issue resolution

+ Perform research, stays up-to-date, and makes recommendations regarding new technologies, industry trends, infrastructure best practices, tools and techniques (virtual, cloud computing, strategic sourcing etc.) that would drive business value

+ Overall leadership, direction, and project management to ensure cost-effective design, development, engineering, integration, implementation, testing, and maintenance of new computing architecture systems in support of business objectives and requirements

+ Identify, define, measure, and improve key IT operational processes using ITIL and other appropriate best practice benchmarks to improve operational and service delivery effectiveness and efficiency

+ Negotiate IT related contracts to ensure cost-effective agreements are achieved, SBM’s interests are protected and business value is added; collaborate with other organizational personnel as needed

+ Establish strategic relationships with key vendors to drive business value, streamline processes, improve service delivery, and reduce costs

+ Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt and change priorities as the business needs change

+ Drive culture of continuous improvement to improve quality, efficiencies, and standards across our IT infrastructure & services

+ Work closely with IT security, compliance and privacy to set standards, operational processes, and policies

+ Perform any other job related instructions, as requested

Education / Experience:

+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the field of computer science, information systems or business administration

+ Minimum of ten (10) years of IT management experience in a company with a customer-centric, marketing driven computing platform and B2B and B2C model

+ Experience in assessing new opportunities and performing necessary due-diligence around technical, operational, and financial impacts

+ Experience in a 24/7 production, high consumer-traffic web environment, including web hosting, voice and data networks, security and information protection, and with load balancing implementations and high-availability networks

+ Experience implementing private, public and hybrid cloud strategies such as IAAS, PAAS, SAAS that optimize business goals with costs

+ Experience in driving and executing strategic solutions, outlining roadmaps while managing the tactical pieces of business

+ Proven experience in strong project management, change management, and analytical skills with a process-oriented approach

+ Agile preferred. SAFe or other enterprise large scale agile framework experience is a plus

+ Demonstrated competence in operational leadership with strong abilities in relationship management and prioritizing initiatives / opportunities based on investments and financial returns

+ Demonstrated deep understanding of technology across platforms and vendors; providing viable options for end-to-end integrated infrastructure solutions including 3rd party products/services

+ Demonstrated ability and strong knowledge of, NIST, PCI, SOC and other regulatory compliance issues in Infrastructure as well as best practices

+ Demonstrated ability and proven record of success leading & mentoring teams and managing a secure, reliable, and stable IT Infrastructure with distributed computing platforms

+ Proven ability to demonstrate attention to detail as needed to drive progress

+ Proven leadership ability

+ Executive and strategic management skills

+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

+ Excellent interpersonal skills

+ Superior analytical, evaluative, problem solving and decision making abilities

+ Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
