# Job Description
**Volt** is looking for a **Numerical Control Programmer** **4** to work with our client, a major aerospace company in **Mesa, AZ.**
+ Provides expertise in numerical control, machining, programming and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) in support of new and ongoing projects.
+ Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
+ Plans and guides the development and integration of machining techniques, manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment to support the design, manufacture and inspection of parts and assemblies.
+ Identifies equipment and approaches, coordinates and assigns work and trains/mentors others.
+ Works under minimal direction.
# CAD/CAM software:
+ **Priority:** Siemens Unigraphics NX8 or laterPreferred: CATIA V5, Vericut, PC-DMIS
+ *NX experience is not a hard requirement but will require extensive training for those who don’t know that system.
+ **Preferred:** Familiarity with Acromatic 900, Acromatic 2100, Fanuc 31i, Mazatrol Matrix Nexus 2
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 15 years' related work experience, etc.).
**Shift:** 6:00am to 2:30pm
