Develop, test, and maintain software modules written in ruby, Reactjs, angularjs, java, and written to natively support docker and Kuberenetes runtime environments, unit test, code reviews, component and function testing.

+ Develop full-stack web application software that will be used to service Lifelock and Norton Customers from multiple call centers around the United States and around the world with the highest degree of availability and reliability.

+ Write tests that will protect the production environment from regressions and new issues that could impact multiple Symantec sites, partners and revenue generation.

+ Review code that was written by other teammates to ensure the highest degree of quality and that it adheres to industry best practices and team standards and style.

+ Write Functional and Acceptance tests that ensure quality and performance end to end from (each layer of the application including the web layer, web service layer, data access layer and database layer.

Act as a Devops engineer both addressing application functional requirements and technical operation issues with engineering solutions

+ Perform root cause analyses on environment specific issues. Propose and advocate for short term and long term solutions.

+ Manage time and commitments such that operational issues can be resolved while delivering on new development timelines and commitments.

+ Propose and implement holistic cloud infrastructure and release management solutions to support the software written by the team.

Will participate and lead sprint demonstrations with executive and customer stakeholders.

+ Actively participate in team-oriented agile processes to plan release cycles, commit to small deliverable chucks and present and demonstrate the working software to both executive stakeholders and users of the software.

+ Intelligently answer executive and user questions on the functionality and behavior of software written.

Collaborate on software development and maintenance and to set development deliverables schedules.

+ Plan release cycles by reviewing requested functionality estimating the engineering effort. Size the effort relative to other asks.

Collaborate across and within groups to write functional specs, API Contracts, and design documents.

+ Develop multiple layered applications and with teams for both downstream dependent APIs as well us upstream API clients. Help all involved have the technical details that they need to press forward on their own deliverables.

Generate engineering test plans according to functional specification documents.

+ Test plans should include a variety of test strategies including unit tests, integration tests, functional tests, acceptance tests. Plans will demonstrate the mitigation of functional failures. Manual testing to be included only when absolutely necessary and when not able to cover the scenario with other means.

+ Test plans should include reports on functional coverage, code coverage and integrate into release management processes to demonstrate quality during change management processes.

Documenting code, refining loosely-defined requirements and continuous stakeholder feedback into demonstrable code.

+ Documentation of REST API contracts including request and response details, system sequence diagrams, flow diagrams decision trees, and data flow diagrams for nontechnical and technical users.

+ Ask clarifying questions to stakeholders to ensure that the delivered software matches the expectation when initial requirements documentation maybe high level and vague.
