**Avionics Technician \(Hangar\)**
The AvionicsTechnician performs maintenance on aircraft avionics components andelectrical systems components, such as airborne navigation/communicationsystems, weather radar, autopilot, compass systems and accessories inaccordance with MFG specifications and FAA guidelines\.
* Worksfrom aircraft orders, wiring diagrams, oral and written instructions to performjob duties for building and installation purposes\.
+ Installation & trouble shooting of Garmin glass cockpit
+ Installation & trouble shooting of various avionics, navigation, & communication system\.
+ Installation & troubleshooting of autopilot system\.
* Performsthe functional testing required to isolate a customer complaint in a particularavionics system and repairing that aircraft system in accordance with FAAprocedures\.
* Troubleshootsproblems to defective units or wiring discrepancies\.
* Replacesdefective units, repairs wiring and modifies aircraft as required\.
* Asrequired, accompanies pilot in flight to functional test repaired systemsand/or aligned systems\.
* Responsibleonly for own work\.
+ Current NCATT AET Certificate and/or Airframe & Powerplant License preferred
+ 1 year experience of avionics system installation, troubleshooting and repair\.
+ Experience on Bell helicopters 206 and/or 407 is preferred
+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics\.
+ Demonstrable ability to navigate, interpret, and apply tech data
+ Training development \(Set\-up sheets/Video\-based/Standard Work\)
+ Ability to work in a team\-based environment and relay knowledge and training to others
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Ability to make critical decisions and problem solve
