Client Systems Technician

Full-time / 40 hours
Summary / Objective:
Client Systems Technician services include all activities associated with installation and maintenance of desktops/workstations hardware and software required by the customers (end-users) within the ACOMS or BCC IT provided services.
+ Accomplish, at a minimum, five CST service tasks correctly, including but not limited to: installing, virtualizing, testing, configuring, securing, administrating (device and account), documenting (physical and logical), scanning, patching, backing up, restoring, troubleshooting (to include root analysis).
+ Safeguarding and account for end user devices that support ACOMS or BCC assigned personnel and ACOMS or BCC customers (both government and contractor) in accordance with applicable instructions and policy standards.
+ Assist the ACOMS or BCC with facilitating informal training specific to maintenance of client systems for government personnel during duty hours as specified in work center’s training plan.
+ Make recommendations on CST projects in accordance with local ACOMS instructions, policies, and or procedures.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

Required Education and / or Experience:
+ Five (5) years of experience in desktop administration
+ Demonstrated systems administration proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating system software for workstations.
+ Meet DOD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician Level 2 requirements (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) and have a current Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification.
An active Top-Secret clearance or higher is required.
