Position Summary
We are seeking a Data Warehouse Developer in the transportation industry (www.prepass.com) to work at our Corporate location in Phoenix, Arizona (85003) and join our collaborative, innovative, customer-centric culture. The Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse and analytics architecture to meet an enterprise’s business analysis and reporting needs. You will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the Data Warehouse and Reporting Environments. You will work within a technical team and with business users to develop the reporting infrastructure utilizing Microsoft Technologies including SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS as well as emerging Azure technologies.

Role and Responsibilities
Consolidate and optimize existing data warehouse architecture and systems.
Develop analytics and business intelligence platform architecture for clients, including internal and third-party clients.
Design and implement ETL procedures for intake of data from both internal and outside sources; as well as ensure data is verified and quality is checked.
Design and implement ETL processes and data architecture to ensure proper functioning of analytics, as well as clients or third-party’s reporting environments and dashboards.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in ensuring data warehouse architecture development and utilization.
Carry out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis.
Ensure all data warehouse code is maintained in a version control system.
Participate in an Agile Scrum development lifecycle.
Participate in the development of future solutions for self-service reporting and analytics.

Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
5+ years of experience performing data warehouse development, management and maintenance.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server to include performance optimization with indexing and execution plans.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services.
Knowledge and experience with SQL Azure.
Knowledge and experience with Azure Data Lake.
Knowledge and experience with Azure Data Factory.
Knowledge and experience with Power BI.
Strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills.
