Our Glendale Manufacturing Plant is currently hiring for Machine Operator positions as we prepare for a major upswing in production of U-Haul trucks, trailers, and other related equipment. 3rd Shift ONLY Monday- Friday 9pm-5amDuties and responsibilities of the Machine Operator will include:• Follow all safety practices during machine operations and ensure work area is maintained in a safe, clean and orderly manner• Ability to produce high quality work standards and check work to prints using various gauges and measuring instruments• Possess strong math skills with ability to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings and other specifications accordingly• Must be able to read tape measure and dial calipers to verify quality of parts to print• Adjust controls to ensure adherence to production specifications• Strong experience working with hydraulic CNC Press Brakes• Ability to interpret shop prints and manufacturing drawings• Set up and operate machines and related equipment
Requirements:• Willing to work at a steady, even pace to promote accuracy and quality of work• Work within established systems, standards and procedures• Ability to accurately complete assigned set of tasksIdeal candidates must:
