About the Position: This Logistics Management Specialist position is located with the US ARMY COMMUNICATIONS ELECTRONICS COMMAND INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT CENTER COMM SECURITY LOGISTICS ACTIVITY CRYPTO KEY DIVISION.
Serves as Senior Specialist/Group Leader in Tier 1 Operations and Senior Cryptonet System Logistics Manager and Accounting Manager for one or more highly complex ryptonet systems.
Computes initial and follow-on requirements for COMSEC Key Material for all service and Federal agencies involved.
Serves as the technical advisor to Army and other DoD service agency users in crypto system creation and management.
Develops procedures to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in the management of Key Short Titles.
Handles complexities of accurately determining the initial forecasts and follow-on support requirements that are compounded by the ever changing architecture.
Directs appropriate action when Cryptonets are discontinued, enlarged or diminished, or when missions change.
Reviews requests for and approves/disapproves system logistical support as pertains to COMSEC.
