Intel Corporation has several Global Supply Chain (GSC) summer internship opportunities in Phoenix, AZ or Portland, OR. As a member of the GSC team, you will be a full business partner, making and influencing business decisions that optimize Intel's Supply Chain. The GSC Intern Program is structured as a 12-week summer 2021 assignment within an Intel GSC business group. Interns will undertake a project designed to utilize existing skills and experience and provide an opportunity for professional growth.
Additionally, the GSC Intern Program includes practical training and educational events, networking/social opportunities, and exposure to senior leadership and the GSC community.
**The Supply Chain Analyst - Internship will be responsible for but not limited to:**
+ Identify process improvements based on thorough understanding of the business processes and supply chain dependencies.
+ Perform specialized tasks in addition to their core job responsibilities, such as consulting on tools, systems, quality and controls, services, or processes; provide input to system/process design; and/or provide content knowledge support and troubleshooting.
+ May work on several projects and/or programs simultaneously, managing multi stakeholders, conduct budget and/or headcount planning, business forecasting, constraint analysis, inventory analysis, Plan/POR, bench-marking and departmental indicators.
+ Influencing/recommending issue resolution strategies in supply chain areas using data driven decision making across appropriate Key Stakeholder and Management levels.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
+ Candidate must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Economics or related field.
+ Minimum of 3 months of experience with the following through education or projects:
+ Excel and Data Analytics experience.
+ Logistics/Supply Chain experience.
+ This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship
+ Experience working in a global environment is considered a bonus.
+ Lean knowledge or experience are a plus.
+ Statistical Data Analysis. (Examples include: Power BI, Python, Machine Learning, MatLab, Visualization tools).
