Works across boundaries by applying and leveraging business processes to solve business needs and optimize for our client. In partnership with the unit and business process owner, conducts follow me homes with subject matter experts, synthesizes learnings to drive holistic business process and technology recommendations. Together with the leaders develops solutions for meeting business needs. Identifies gaps between existing and proposed capabilities and drives plans to prioritize and address the gaps. Drives business processes and requirements adaptation to leverage out of the box system functionality and minimize customization as much as possible. Responsible for multiple business processes. A driver of solutions within their area of focus across a one-year horizon and a key contributor to longer term planning and solutions at the enterprise or core process level.
Primary responsibilities include:
Synthesizing and prioritizing requirements and assessing the impact of initiatives across core business processes. Contributing to the development and validation of process and offering roadmaps. Recommending and driving solutions within their area of focus. Contributing to the development and proposal of larger scope solutions. Driving and communicating solutions and building shared vision for implementation across core team of focus. Ensures solutions are scalable, repeatable and effective and that end-to-end thinking is employed, as well as meets the expectations of the customer and the client. Leads change efforts to implement solutions, including working with leaders on associated culture changes.
Prioritized recommendations from follow me home observations. Business requirements synthesized from multiple sources. Redesigned business processes and improvements, including As-Is and To-Be solution documentation. Process redesign options, impact analyses and gap analyses. Shared vision on key process changes. Solution proposals and contributions to business cases. Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) appropriate for project teams and business leaders when communicating any of the above.
Design thinking background. Experience applying technology solutions to addressing business problems and strategies Working knowledge of business process redesign principles, tools and techniques Experience developing and gaining acceptance for proposed solutions and business cases with senior level leaders. Working knowledge of systems development lifecycles and systems integration projects.
