VMware IT HR, Legal & REW Group
Our team supports VMware HR, Legal and REW business functions with platforms and systems capabilities. We are transforming our software delivery practices to bring in greater agility. We also use mobile and IoT technologies to deliver new digital experiences for employees, customers and partners. You will team up with a geographically distributed team of Engineers, Product Managers, QE and DevOps staff in Bangalore, Palo Alto, Austin and Costa Rica. You will bring your technical experience / expertise in web-based/mobile applications development and drive the adoption of standard methodologies as we build a scalable platform for business requirements.

+ Manage relationships with multiple business teams for new solution features and technical implementation
+ Participate in requirements gathering sessions for new system requirements or enhancements to existing systems for HR applications
+ Design, configure and partner with the project team to develop, test, and deploy solutions, including integrations.
+ Support integrated testing strategies and coordinate acceptance efforts with end users
+ Ensuring designs and implementations meet quality, performance, scale, testability, and manage requirements as well as cross team dependencies
+ Drive Stakeholder Engagement and Application development within the group.
+ Work with the geographically distributed team comprised of Architects, Functional SMEs and Quality Engineers.
+ Build, mentor and maintain a high-performance team
+ Be willing to learn about existing IT platforms as well as new market offerings in this domain
+ Manage communication to stakeholders, executives, peer teams and product management/Business Operation Leadership
+ Author technical and functional artifacts and collaborate with other Developers/QA team-members to achieve desired outcomes
+ Experience building highly available, scalable cloud applications, including server and database layers
+ Able to demonstrate effective teamwork both within the immediate team and across teams
+ Strong social skills and experience in engaging with product managers and fellow Engineers
+ BE/B Tech or ME/M Tech in Computer Science or related technical discipline
+ 6-10 years of overall experience with a minimum of 4+ years in the role of a Business Analyst / Product Owner
+ Strong Work experience and knowledge on HCM and Legal Ops
+ Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD, AGILE/SCRUM development methodologies
+ Ability to work effectively under time-critical deadlines and handle competing priorities
+ Top notch Program Management, Organizational skills, high attention to detail, and superior time management
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
+ Experience in envisioning, solutioning and designing end-to-end subscription solutions in an agile environment
**Nice to Have Experience**
· Experience in developing and maintaining consumer-facing web or mobile applications
· Open source code contributions
· Experience with iPaaS such as Boomi and Informatica
