Retail Sales Center Manager

JOB PURPOSE:
The Retail Sales Center Manager manages all sales activities and oversees the day-to-day operations of the retail stores. Supports the success of the stores by developing and implementing strategic sales plans and goals, effectively monitoring and motivating through effective communication and strong leadership.

In this role, the Retail Sales Center Manager is a member of the management team and serves in a position of authority ensuring the retail centers are profitable and operating according to system standards. This position is also responsible for providing a safe environment for employees, customers, visitors, etc.

The Retail Sales Center Manager routinely works with a high-level of self-initiative, authority, and responsibility in addressing situations involving departures from standard policies, interpretations, or procedures ensuring that these are resolved using independent judgment within the functions and processes for which the employee is accountable and responsible.

Essential Job Functions:

• Creates and implements a strategic sales model.
• Coordinates weekly, monthly sales and marketing meetings. Informs team of marketing strategies, targeted direct mail, in-shop flyers, marketing kits, bag stuffers, etc.
• Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
• Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.
• Deliver sales presentations; meet with clients, assist customer service representatives with maintaining relations, negotiating, and closing sales.
• Prepare sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed customer expansion; propose innovative ideas to increase market share
• Provide effective training and orientation programs to include: in-shop operations, (front counter, digital B&W and color printing, design area, production, press, bindery, sublet vendors, etc.), detailed sales expectations and activity.
• Supervision of team members, provide training and support, ensure customer service standards and quality requirements are met, facilitate process improvement, provide regular performance feedback, develop skills and encourage growth, monitor overtime, provide reward and recognition, conduct performance reviews, address employee relations issues, fairly and consistently enforce applicable policies and procedures

• Manage all personnel, ensuring all human resources related functions adhere to, and comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
• Role models, adheres to and enforces AlphaGraphics® procedures/policies
• Maintains strict housekeeping, store appearance, and visual merchandising standards
• Manages store costs in order to achieve budgeted expenses in the areas of materials, payroll, and other variable expenses
• Accurately prepares timely financial and operations information
• Participates in budgeting and sales forecasting
• Performs various administrative responsibilities related to estimates on customized orders, daily closes, bank deposits and other related tasks
• Purchases materials, supplies and equipment, while controlling the work flow of inventory and use of equipment as designated by the owners
• Manages overall production so that all work is completed accurately, delivered as scheduled, while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensures that all production logs, waste logs, and maintenance logs are up-to-date
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
• Address and resolve issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
• Ensures safety requirements are met in accordance with Federal/State Laws
• Perform additional management duties, as needed

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or directly related field;
• Minimum of five (5) years management experience;
• Minimum of five (5) years retail experience, in a printing environment.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:
• Must have valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.

Supervisory Duties:
• Management of staff
• Member of Management Team
