+ Maintain existing Banking and Accounting batch applications
+ Work in an Agile development environment with 2-week sprints
+ Perform problem analysis / resolution as needed with some “on call” responsibility
+ Document new and existing processes at the system, job, and program level
+ Participate in “one on one” training provided by subject matter experts
+ Protect operations by keeping sensitive information confidential
Skills and Qualifications:
+ Solid critical thinking skills and the ability to absorb complex batch process flows
+ 5 years’ experience with COBOL, JCL, Syncsort, VSAM in a z/OS environment
+ 3 years’ experience with banking applications utilizing EFT processing such as ACH
+ 3 years’ experience with Accounting applications with emphasis on General Ledger
+ Experience with Excel a plus
+ Experience with Bank vs Book reconciliation applications a plus
+ Experience with Credit Card and Online Check processing applications a plus
+ Willingness to work across teams such as Java and .net Development, Production Support, and various Business Units

Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need. After World War II, there existed the widespread need for do-it-yourself moving equipment that would be available on a one-way, nationwide basis. U-Haul co-founders L.S. "Sam" Shoen and his wife, Anna Mary Carty Shoen, recognized that need and acted upon it. Their visionary approach spread the cost of ownership among many users, facilitating the mobility of the populations of the U.S. and Canada. The covered wagon of the pioneers morphed into orange U-Haul trailers. In the process, an industry was born.
