This position is part of the WAPA-DSW-Desert Southwest, Department of Energy. As a High Voltage Electrician (Apprentice), you will be an apprentice in the electrical trades. During the term of the apprenticeship, the apprentice shall be provided progressively more complex and responsible training and experience in order to assure that upon completion of the term of apprenticeship, the apprentice will possess both the theoretical and practical knowledge, skill, and ability of the trade necessary to perform the full range of duties of the trade at the skilled journeyman level of competence.

Qualifications: As a High Voltage Electrician (Apprentice), you must have the ability to acquire knowledge and skills in high voltage electrician work. Upon completion of his 4 year apprenticeship, the apprentice will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge, skill, and ability of the trade necessary to perform the full range of duties of the trade at the skilled journeyman level of competence.
