    Position Description

    The Innovations Team Supervisor will play a key leadership role in supporting organizational objectives and providing innovative solutions to meet both internal and external customer service needs. He or she will support the development, implementation and management of programs for the following three Unisource Energy Corporation subsidiary companies: 1) Tucson Electric Power (TEP); 2) Unisource Electric (UNSE); 3) Unisource Gas (UNSG). The Supervisor will be an employee of TEP, based in Tucson, AZ. They will provide direction and support for TEP, UNSG and UNSE. The Supervisor’s duties include daily support and supervision of Program Managers, Program Coordinators, Implementation Contractors (IC), and support staff for program and services implementation. Responsible for management of goals related to all programs and services, including product and services promotion, participation, initiatives, budgets, and identification of program changes that are necessary. The Supervisor will ensure the programs they oversee create sufficient value to the organization and is responsible for the direct sale of tariff and non-tariff products and services. The Supervisor will also provide guidance for media campaigns including internet, television, radio, and print as well as speaking at community events.

    Position-Related Responsibilities

    Assist with the development, prioritization, and management of innovative solution programs and services to ensure program goals and milestones are met.
    Develop program goals that are clearly identified and aligned with utility objectives and communicate those to team members. Assist other program managers as needed with the development of annual program implementation and budget plans.
    Promotes and support programs and services for TEP, UNS Electric, and UNS Gas to all stakeholders. Gains commitment from stakeholders to participate in and support available programs. Negotiates and develops written contracts for participants as necessary.
    Develops and supervises use of pricing and accounting methods to assure proper accounting and cost recovery for assigned programs and services to assure defined value contribution is realized. Assists with process development and manages monthly compliance reports as required for all assigned programs and services.

    Ensures staff is accurately managing and maintaining client relationships, contracts, and budgets and for all programs and services.
