TRANSITIONS for the Developmentally Disabled, a family-run company, is currently seeking a Group Instructor who is passionate about working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This position includes leading a small group of individuals through a meaningful day at our Adult Day Program in Tempe (~Broadway Rd. and Priest Dr.). Job responsibilities also include monthly calendar planning, motivational teaching/coaching Life and Social skills, community outings, and record keeping.

Group Instructor shift hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, with ~2 days of transporting members to and from the program using a company vehicle (roughly 2 hours per transportation shift)-No CDL is required.

Hiring Requirements:

Valid AZ Driver’s License
First Aid and CPR Certification
Article 9 Certification
Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation Certification
NON-IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
39-Month Driving Record- must have a clean driving record

*Available in-house trainer if certifications if needed.
