The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in CAD Application program is designed to broaden students` design exposure and Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology skills. Students will utilize industry standard CAD and BIM software to produce three-dimensional (3D) drawings and parametric models. This will include presentation methods and construction documentation conventions for either the architecture or civil design fields. Students may apply these courses toward the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Architectural and Civil CAD Technology (3503).

Construction Trades: Pre-Apprenticeship
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Construction Trades: Pre-Apprenticeship program is designed to train and upgrade skills of people interested in entering construction trades registered apprenticeship programs. Training is included in the areas OSHA-10 certification and introductory courses in the areas of hand and power tools, math, blueprint reading, rigging, materials handling and green construction overview. Soft skills training includes problem solving, communication and computer basics. The skills acquired in this program can be applied toward advance placement in a participating registered apprenticeship program which may require a background check and/or drug testing.

The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Landscape Aide program emphasizes the basic skills of Plant Science and Plant Identification, incorporating these skills into the practical study of Landscape Design and Construction. The program is designed to prepare students to become employed as technicians, salespeople and supervisors in nurseries or landscape design/build firms. Students may continue their studies with the Certificate of Completion in Landscape Specialist program. In addition, the program prepares students for jobs with government agencies or other agencies involved with the technical phases of the Landscape Horticulture industry.
